Udvar-Hazy Center   Chantilly\, VA\n\n	Located next to Dulles Airport.  With more than 3\,000 artifacts\, including nearly 200 aircraft on display.  \n\n\n\n	The building's design lends itself to the theme of the collection\, with a very large hangar displaying aircraft\, models\, memorabilia\, uniforms\, engines\, and more.\n	We also have many other military aircraft\, spanning from World War I to modern-day planes.  Some of our key aircraft include a Sopwith Camel\, a Sikorsky JRS-1 that survived the Pearl Harbor attack\, the B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay\, an SR-71 Blackbird\, an F-14 Tomcat\, and an F-18 Hornet that was flown during the Gulf War before becoming a Blue Angel.\n	There are also several non-military planes\, including an Air France Concorde\, the first Federal Express jet\, air racers\, experimental aircraft\, helicopters\, and more.\n	The second hangar displays some of our space-related artifacts\, including Space Shuttle Discovery\, capsules\, spacesuits\, and other items from the Mercury\, Gemini\, and Apollo missions\, rockets\, missiles\, some pop culture\, space science\, and more.   \n	The site has a working restoration hangar with a glass overlook for visitors to view some of the conservation projects underway\, including Flak Bait\, the B-26 Marauder that flew more missions than any other American aircraft in World War II.\n	Visitors can also watch planes take off and land at Dulles Airport from 169 feet up in the Museum's observation tower. https://airandspace.si.edu/visit/udvar-hazy-center\n\n \n\nNational Museum United States Army\n\n \n\nThe National Museum of the United States Army provides the only comprehensive portrayal of Army History and traditions through the eyes of the American Soldier.
